From the Nyagatare town center, head southwest towards the Nyagatare Hospital. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with the main road (Route Nationale 3). Turn right at this junction.

Continue walking along Route Nationale 3 for approximately 3 kilometers. You will pass by local shops and small eateries, which can be a good place to stop for refreshments.

Continue straight for another 1 kilometer until you reach the entrance to Nyarugina Caves, which will be marked by a small signpost. The caves are located in the Kinigi area, and you will see them as you approach.
