Walking
From the center of Nyamata, head south on the main road. Walk for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the exit onto Nyanza Rd. Continue walking on Nyanza Rd for approximately 1 kilometer. You will see the King's Palace Museum on your left. The museum is well-signposted, so keep an eye out for the signs as you approach.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Nyamata market area. Ride south along the main road for about 1.2 kilometers. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Nyanza Rd. Continue cycling for about 1 kilometer on Nyanza Rd until you see the King's Palace Museum on your left. Bicycles can be parked near the entrance of the museum.
