From the center of Karongi, head south on Avenue du Commerce towards the lake. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Nyanza. Turn right and follow this road for about 2 kilometers. You will pass by local shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Mwima Mausoleum. Once you reach the junction for Unnamed Road, turn left and continue for approximately 1 kilometer. The Mausoleum is located on your right, marked by a small sign.

Start at the main market in Karongi. Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops if you haven't already. Cycle towards the main road leading south out of the town. Upon reaching the intersection with the Nyanza road, turn right. Continue cycling for about 2 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views along the way. When you reach the junction for Unnamed Road, take a left turn. The Mwima Mausoleum will be on your right after about 1 kilometer.
