From the center of Rubavu, head towards the main road (A1) that leads to Gisenyi. Walk along Avenue du Lac, which runs parallel to Lake Kivu. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenue de la Paix. Turn left onto Avenue de la Paix and continue walking until you reach the bus station in Rubavu. Look for a bus heading to Kigali.
