Walking
Start at Rubavu town center, near the main market. Head west on Avenue du Lac towards the lakeshore. Continue walking straight until you reach the end of the avenue. You will see signs directing you towards Rubavu Public Beach. Follow the path along the lakeshore, and you will arrive at the beach in approximately 15-20 minutes.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, rent one near the town center. From there, head west on Avenue du Lac. Keep cycling straight until you reach the lakeshore. Once you see the beach area, park your bicycle and enjoy the beach. The ride should take about 10 minutes.
Motorcycle Taxi (Moto)
Find a motorcycle taxi (commonly called 'moto') at any designated taxi stand or flag one down on the street. Tell the driver you want to go to Rubavu Public Beach. They will take you directly to the beach. The ride from the town center should take about 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic.
