Getting There

    From Rubavu, head to the main bus station located near the town center. Look for buses heading to Kamembe or Cyangugu. Make sure to ask if the bus stops at Nyungwe Forest National Park or the nearest town, which is Uwinka. The journey will take approximately 2-3 hours. Upon arrival in Uwinka, you may need to hire a local motorcycle taxi (known as an 'moto') to take you to the entrance of the park.
