Start at the center of Ruhengeri, near the main bus station. Head northeast on Avenue de la Révolution. Continue straight for about 800 meters until you reach a junction with a small road on your left. Turn left onto the road, which is marked with signs indicating the direction to Muhabura Hill. Follow this road for approximately 1.5 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views of the lush greenery around you. As you approach the base of the hill, you'll see a local market on your right – a great place to grab some snacks or water for your hike.
