1 Day Gorilla Trekking Safari in Rwanda Volcanoes National Park

12 day Tour of Rwanda

We cannot recommend Hope Tours Africa highly enough! From start to finish, our two-week tour of Rwanda was absolutely amazing. Eric, our tour operator, was professional throughout and provided brilliant communication at all times. Booking from the UK was easy and straightforward, and Eric was always friendly, helpful and accommodating. Nothing was ever too much trouble, even when we needed to make slight changes to our schedule. As two females travelling alone, we felt safe, comfortable and in very good hands throughout our entire trip. Our experienced guide and driver made the experience truly special, ensuring we had fantastic wildlife sightings in the safari park, including, of course, the highlight of the trip — seeing the magnificent gorillas! The whole experience exceeded our expectations, and we are so grateful to Eric and the team for helping us create such wonderful memories. We would highly recommend Hope Tours Ltd to anyone planning a trip to Rwanda. If you are looking for a professional, reliable, friendly and knowledgeable tour company, look no further!

Volcanoes National Park Day Pass

An absolute must do

This was an incredible experience. The kind that you will remember forever and one that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Being so close to these gentle giants in their natural habitat is really breathtaking. I can't thank the guides, porters and trackers enough for delivering a wonderful experience.

A day trip _ Mount Bisoke Hike Adventure

Great hiking expedience

Hiking on Mount Bisoke was one of my main purposes for coming to Rwanda - besides tasting the coffee. The mist-shrouded mountains motivated me to reach the summit. The entire itinerary was very tightly scheduled, taking about 12 hours from start to finish. The driver, who also runs the tour agency, picked me up from my hotel in Kigali, and the one-way drive to the base took about 2.5 hours. He was very talkative and had clear, well-thought-out plans for growing his business. The climb itself was somewhat challenging and monotonous, but the sight of the shimmering crater lake at the top made it all worthwhile. I do wish there were something like a summit certificate to make the experience feel more participatory. I heard that this agency also runs trips to Mount Nyiragongo - I'm hoping that once the security situation stabilizes, that trip can become a reality.
