Walking
From the center of Ruhengeri, head south on Avenue du Commerce. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenue de la Paix. Walk straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach a T-junction. Turn right onto Nyanza Rd. The King's Palace Museum will be on your left side after about 500 meters.

If you have rented a bicycle, start at the central market in Ruhengeri. Head south on Avenue du Commerce, then take the second exit at the roundabout onto Avenue de la Paix. Continue cycling straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach a T-junction. Turn right onto Nyanza Rd and cycle for about 500 meters. The King's Palace Museum will be on your left.

You can hire a motorcycle taxi (known locally as a 'moto') from any point in Ruhengeri. Simply tell the driver you want to go to King's Palace Museum on Nyanza Rd. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on a fare before you start your journey.
