From the center of Ruhengeri, head south on Avenue du Général de Gaulle towards Avenue de la Paix. Continue straight until you reach the traffic circle. Take the first exit onto Avenue de la Paix and walk for about 1 kilometer until you see the sign for Volcanoes National Park. Follow the signs to the park entrance.

Once you reach the entrance of Volcanoes National Park, continue along the main path that leads deeper into the park. There will be signs directing you to various lodges. Keep an eye out for the Wilderness Sabyinyo sign, which will be along this path.
