Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the city of Kibuye, which is approximately 30 kilometers away from Umutuzo Lodge. Head south on the RN 10 road towards Gisenyi. After about 10 kilometers, you will see a sign for Bigabiro. Turn left onto the road leading to Bigabiro. Follow this road for approximately 15 kilometers, and you will reach the Boneza sector. The lodge is located at Boneza sector, 9643 3/02/01/04. Make sure to use GPS coordinates: Latitude -1.9144484, Longitude 29.287291999999997 for accurate directions.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from Kibuye to Gisenyi. Buses leave frequently from the main bus station. The fare is approximately 1,000 Rwandan Francs. Once you arrive in Gisenyi, take a moto-taxi (motorcycle taxi) to Bigabiro. The moto-taxi fare should be around 2,000 to 3,000 Rwandan Francs. Inform the driver to take you to Umutuzo Lodge located in Boneza sector, 9643 3/02/01/04. Ensure to confirm the location with the driver to avoid any confusion.

For a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Kibuye to Umutuzo Lodge. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. The fare for a taxi can range from 10,000 to 15,000 Rwandan Francs depending on the negotiation skills and time of the day. Ensure to agree on the price before starting your journey.
