From the Botanical Gardens of Nevis, head southwest on the main road towards Charlestown. After approximately 1.5 miles, take the ferry from Charlestown to Basseterre, St. Kitts. The ferry ride takes about 45 minutes and costs around $60 USD round trip. Once you arrive in Basseterre, drive north for about 2 miles on the main road until you reach Needsmust Train Station. The St. Kitts Scenic Railway is located here.

Start by taking a taxi from the Botanical Gardens to the Charlestown ferry terminal, which should cost around $10 USD.
