Walking
Start at the center of Sandy Point Town, near the Sandy Point Town Market. Head northwest on Main Street towards the intersection with Church Street. Continue straight on Main Street for about 10 minutes until you reach a T-junction. At the T-junction, you will see the Sandy Point Methodist Church on your right. Turn left onto Fort Street. Continue walking straight for another 5 minutes. You will notice a sign indicating the direction to Fort George. Follow the sign and walk uphill on the path leading towards the fort. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will arrive at The Citadel at Fort George, located on a hill with stunning views of the surrounding area.

If you are near the Sandy Point Town Community Centre, start by heading south on Church Street. Walk towards the waterfront, then turn right onto the path leading up to Fort George. The path is well-marked and will take you uphill. After a 10-minute walk, you will see the entrance to The Citadel at Fort George. Enjoy the historical site and the view!

From the Sandy Point Town Beach, make your way to the path leading inland. Head towards the local shops on Main Street. Once you reach Main Street, turn left and follow the road for approximately 10 minutes. You will come to the intersection with Fort Street. Turn right onto Fort Street and continue for another 5 minutes. Look for the sign directing you to The Citadel. After following the path uphill for about 15 minutes, you will arrive at your destination.
