Walking
From the center of Anse la Raye, head east on the main road (Route 2) towards the village of Canaries. Continue walking along this road for about 1.5 km. You will pass by several local shops and homes, enjoying the scenic views of the coastline. As you approach the junction where the road forks, take the left fork and continue straight. Follow the signs towards Millet. The Millet bird sanctuary and nature trail is located approximately 1 km further along this road, on the right side. Look for a small sign indicating the entrance.

From Anse la Raye, walk to the local bus stop near the main road. Take a bus heading towards Castries and inform the driver that you want to get off at Millet. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you reach Millet, get off at the designated bus stop. From there, you can walk to the Millet bird sanctuary and nature trail, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the road straight ahead and look for the entrance on your right.

If you're looking for a quicker option, you can hire a motorcycle taxi from Anse la Raye. Look for a motorcycle taxi stand near the main road. Negotiate a fare with the driver to take you to Millet bird sanctuary and nature trail. The ride will take approximately 10 minutes. The driver will drop you off right at the entrance of the sanctuary.
