From the center of Canaries, head towards the main road (the A3) that connects the village to other parts of the island. Walk east on the main road until you reach the junction with the road that leads to Millet. This is approximately a 15-20 minute walk, depending on your pace. Continue straight onto the road that leads to Millet. You will pass through some beautiful local scenery and may encounter a few local shops and homes along the way.

From Canaries, walk to the nearest bus stop located on the main road (A3). Look for a minibus heading towards Millet or any bus that is heading in the general direction. The fare is generally inexpensive, and the journey should take about 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive in Millet, disembark at the nearest stop and ask locals for directions to the Millet Bird Sanctuary and Nature Trail (W224+F4C). It's typically a short walk from the bus stop. Make sure to confirm the return schedule for the bus to Canaries.
