From the center of Malgretoute, head southeast on the main road towards Vieux Fort. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the airport. Turn left at the intersection and walk for another 500 meters. You will see a sign for Maria Islands Nature Reserve on your right. Follow the sign and take the path leading to the reserve, which is about a 10-minute walk from the main road.

Locate the nearest bus stop in Malgretoute. Board a bus heading towards Vieux Fort. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop closest to Maria Islands Nature Reserve. The bus ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive, walk towards the reserve, which is a short distance from the bus stop. Look for the signage directing you to the entrance.
