Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the Langlade Community Centre located in the center of Langlade. Head south on the main road, which is also known as Rue de l'Eglise, for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with Route de la Mer. At the junction, turn left onto Route de la Mer. Continue walking for about 3 kilometers. You will pass by several small shops and the local bakery, which is a great spot for a snack. Keep an eye out for local wildlife along the way. After 3 kilometers, you will reach the coast. The Tidal Wave Memorial is located on Main Street in Burin, which is just a short walk from the coast. Follow the coastal path that leads you to Burin, and once you reach the town, continue on Main Street until you find the memorial at 491 Main St.

  From Langlade, walk to the nearest bus stop at the Langlade Community Centre. Take the local bus service that operates towards Burin. The bus runs hourly, so check the schedule if you're unsure. The ride to Burin takes approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Burin, exit the bus and walk towards Main Street. The Tidal Wave Memorial is located at 491 Main St, just a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs towards the waterfront, and you will find the memorial easily.
