If you are starting from Port Elizabeth, walk along the main road known as 'Lower Bay Road' heading south. Continue straight for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the junction where you will see a sign pointing towards Lower Bay. Turn left onto the dirt path that leads to Lower Bay Beach. Follow this path until you reach Lower Bay Beach. From here, you can walk along the beach to the right for about 5-10 minutes until you reach Princess Margaret Beach. The beach will be on your right.

From Port Elizabeth, you can take a local water taxi to Princess Margaret Beach. Head to the waterfront area where you will find several water taxi operators. Inform the operator that you want to go to Princess Margaret Beach. The ride usually takes about 5-10 minutes, and the water taxi will drop you off right at the beach.

For a scenic hike, start from Port Elizabeth and follow the trail that leads up to the hills overlooking the bay. Look for the signs for the hiking trail towards Lower Bay. This path will take you through lush vegetation and offer stunning views of the coastline. After about 30-40 minutes of hiking, you will descend towards Lower Bay. From Lower Bay, walk along the beach to the right for about 5-10 minutes to reach Princess Margaret Beach.
