Walking
Start at the main dock area in Clifton, Union Island. From the dock, head east along the main road towards the village of Ashton. After about 10-15 minutes of walking, you will reach the junction near the Ashton Lagoon. At this junction, take a left turn onto the road that leads towards the southern part of the island. Continue walking for approximately 30 minutes, enjoying the coastal views on your left. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Point Cistern. Eventually, you will notice a path leading off the main road that heads towards the beach. Follow this path until you reach the beach area where Point Cistern is located. The overall walk will take about 45-60 minutes depending on your pace.

If you prefer a faster option, consider taking a boat taxi from Clifton. Head to the dock area and look for boat taxi services that operate to the southern beaches of Union Island. Confirm with the boat operator that they can drop you near Point Cistern. The boat ride will typically take around 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive, follow any signs or ask locals for directions to Point Cistern, which is along the beach.
