Walking
Start your journey at the center of Fagamalo. Head south towards the Main South Coast Road. As you walk, take in the local scenery and enjoy the lush surroundings. Once you reach the Main South Coast Road, turn left. Continue walking along this road for approximately 5 kilometers. You will pass by small local villages and experience the vibrant culture of Samoa. Keep an eye out for signs indicating the direction to To-Sua Ocean Trench. As you approach Lotofaga, you will see the entrance to the To-Sua Ocean Trench on your right. It is well-marked and you should be able to see other visitors enjoying the site.

Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, start from the center of Fagamalo and make your way to the Main South Coast Road. Rent a bicycle if you do not have one. After reaching the Main South Coast Road, turn left and pedal along the road. The distance is about 5 kilometers, and you will enjoy the fresh air and beautiful landscapes. Keep an eye out for signs to To-Sua Ocean Trench. As you near Lotofaga, you will find the entrance on your right-hand side. There are usually bike racks available for you to park your bicycle while you explore the trench.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Fagamalo, walk to the nearest bus stop on the Main South Coast Road. Look for a bus heading towards Lotofaga. Buses in Samoa are usually marked with their destinations. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride which takes approximately 15-20 minutes to reach Lotofaga. Request the bus driver to drop you off at the To-Sua Ocean Trench stop. After disembarking, the entrance to the trench will be a short walk from the road on your right.
