Walking
From the main ferry terminal in Mulifanua, head south on the main road, which is called Manono Starmound Trail. Follow the road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by local shops and a few residential areas. Keep an eye out for any signs indicating the direction to Star Mound. As you approach the area, you may see some locals who can provide additional guidance if needed. The Star Mound entrance will be marked, and it is located on the right side of the road.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the ferry terminal and cycle south on Manono Starmound Trail. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on your speed. Make sure to stay on the designated paths and be cautious of any pedestrians. Look for signs indicating Star Mound as you approach. The mound is situated just off the main road on your right, and there should be a small pathway leading to the entrance.
Public Transport (Bus)
If there is a local bus service operating in Mulifanua, you can catch a bus heading towards Manono Island. Ask the driver to let you off at the stop closest to Manono Starmound Trail. From there, you can walk about 300 meters south along the trail to reach the entrance of Star Mound. Check the local bus schedule as it may vary, and ensure you have some local currency for the fare.
