Car
Start from the center of Va'a-o-Fonoti and head northwest on the main road (Falealili Rd). Continue on this road, following the signs towards Apia. After approximately 25 kilometers, you will reach the junction leading to Vaiala Beach. Turn left onto Vaiala Beach Road. Continue straight until you reach the beach area, where parking is available nearby. Note that there might be a small parking fee depending on the season.
Public Transportation
From the center of Va'a-o-Fonoti, take a local bus heading towards Apia. The bus fare is generally around 5 Samoan Tala. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at Vaiala Beach, which is a popular destination. The bus will drop you off close to the beach entrance. From there, it’s a short walk to the beach area.
Walking from nearby locations
If you are staying at a nearby accommodation, you can walk to Vaiala Beach. Simply head towards the main road and follow the signs. The beach is about a 15-minute walk from the closest hotels. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated, especially on sunny days.
