From Pico Cão Grande, head southeast on the main road (EN-1) towards M. Vilela. Continue straight for about 7 km until you reach the junction with the road leading to 7G9R+P97. Turn left and follow this road for approximately 3 km. You will see the sign for Pico de São Tomé. There is ample parking available near the entrance.

Take a local minibus (called 'toca-toca') from the central bus station in Pico Cão Grande heading towards M. Vilela. The fare is typically around 2,000 Dobra (STN). Inform the driver that you are going to Pico de São Tomé. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the stop near 7G9R+P97, you can walk to the entrance of Pico de São Tomé, which is about a 10-minute walk.
