Getting There

Walking
Start at the center of Ribeira Afonso. Head northwest along the main road (Rua de Ribeira Afonso) for about 1.5 kilometers. As you walk, you'll pass local shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating 'Monte Café'. When you reach a fork in the road, take the left path which leads directly to the Monte Café area. Continue walking straight for another 500 meters until you see a signpost for 'Saint Nicholas Waterfall'. The waterfall is located approximately 100 meters from this sign.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from the center of Ribeira Afonso. Take the main road (Rua de Ribeira Afonso) heading northwest. After about 1 kilometer, turn left at the fork towards Monte Café. Continue along this road for about 1 kilometer. Look for the signpost for 'Saint Nicholas Waterfall' on your right, and follow the path leading to the waterfall.

Local Transport (Moto-taxi)
In Ribeira Afonso, you can find moto-taxis at various points in the city. Approach a moto-taxi driver and request to go to 'Monte Café' or 'Saint Nicholas Waterfall'. The driver will take you directly to the entrance of the waterfall area. Make sure to agree on a fare before you start your journey. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
