Walking
From the center of Ribeira Afonso, head northeast towards the main road. Follow the road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the fork where you'll see a sign for Monte Café. Take the left path towards Monte Café. Continue walking for another 2 kilometers along this road, enjoying the scenery. As you approach Monte Café, look for a small trail on your right leading into the forest. Follow this trail, which will take you deeper into the lush surroundings. After about 500 meters, you will hear the sounds of water. Keep following the trail until you reach Saint Nicholas Waterfall, which is approximately 200 meters off the main trail.
