Walking
Start at the city center of São Tomé, near the Cathedral of São Tomé. From the Cathedral, head south on Avenida 12 de Julho. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction with Rua da Liberdade. Turn left onto Rua da Liberdade and walk until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenida da Independência. Continue on this road for about 1 kilometer until you see a sign for Jardim Botânico do Bom Sucesso on your right. Turn right at the sign and walk approximately 500 meters. The botanical garden will be on your left.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the city center near the Cathedral of São Tomé. Cycle south on Avenida 12 de Julho, then turn left onto Rua da Liberdade. Follow this road until the roundabout, taking the second exit onto Avenida da Independência. Continue cycling for about 1 kilometer, keeping an eye out for the sign for Jardim Botânico do Bom Sucesso on your right. Turn right at the sign and cycle approximately 500 meters until you reach the entrance of the botanical garden on your left.

From the city center, find a local minibus (known as 'táxi') heading towards Milagrosa. Board the minibus and inform the driver that you want to go to Jardim Botânico do Bom Sucesso. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes. Get off when the driver signals the stop near the botanical garden. From there, it’s just a short walk of about 5 minutes to the entrance, which will be on your left.
