Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Grand Mosque (Masjid al-Haram), head southwest towards the Abraj Al Bait Towers. Once you reach the towers, continue on King Abdul Aziz Road. Walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Al Huda Street. Turn left onto Al Huda Street and follow it for about 500 meters until you see signs pointing towards Jabal Al Noor. The entrance to the hiking path will be on your right.

  • Walking

    If you are near the Clock Tower, you can walk towards King Abdul Aziz Road as well. Head in the direction of the Grand Mosque, and then follow the same route as mentioned above. Note that the walk may take approximately 25-30 minutes.

  • Public Transportation (Bus)

    Locate the nearest bus stop on King Abdul Aziz Road. You can take a local bus that goes towards Jabal Al Noor. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Jabal Al Noor stop. From the bus stop, you will need to walk for about 10 minutes to reach the base of the mountain.
