Car
If you're driving, start from the Grand Mosque (Masjid al-Haram) in Makkah. Head northeast on Al-Masjid al-Haram Road (King Abdul Aziz Road) for about 3 kilometers. Continue straight onto Al-Muqayyarah Street, which leads to Jabal Al-Nour. Follow the signs for Jabal Al-Nour. Upon reaching the base of the mountain, you can park your car in the designated parking area. Note that there might be a small parking fee.

Public Transportation
To reach Hira Cave using public transport, take a taxi or ride-hailing service from your location in Makkah to Jabal Al-Nour. The fare should be around 20-30 SAR depending on the distance from your starting point. Inform the driver that you wish to go to Jabal Al-Nour (جبل النور) and they will take you to the foot of the mountain. From there, you can either hike up to Hira Cave or hire a local guide for assistance.

Hiking
Once at the base of Jabal Al-Nour, prepare for a hike to Hira Cave. The trail is steep and can take about 30-60 minutes to ascend depending on your fitness level. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, bring water, and possibly a small backpack for your belongings. There are no entrance fees for the hike itself. The cave is located at the top of the mountain (latitude: 21.4579228, longitude: 39.8596852).
