If you are starting from Masjid al-Nabawi (the Prophet's Mosque), exit the mosque from the main entrance. Walk straight ahead towards the southeastern direction, following the crowd as many visitors head towards Jannat ul Baqi. Continue walking past the large green dome of the mosque, and as you approach the cemetery's entrance, you will see signs directing you to Jannat ul Baqi. The entrance is located just outside the mosque's southeastern corner. The distance is about 500 meters and will take you approximately 10 minutes on foot.
