Walking
Start at the Prophet's Mosque (Al-Masjid an-Nabawi), which is a central location in Medina. From the mosque, head north on King Abdul Aziz Road. Continue walking for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Abu Bakr As-Siddiq Road. Turn left onto Abu Bakr As-Siddiq Road and walk straight for another 1 kilometer until you reach Jabal Uhud area. Look for signs directing you towards Uhud Mountain Cave. The cave is located at 7782 Abdul Aziz Ibn Marwan Street, near the foot of the mountain.
Public Transport
Begin your journey at the Prophet's Mosque. Walk to the nearest bus stop (Al-Masjid an-Nabawi bus stop), which is usually bustling with local transport options. Take a bus heading towards Jabal Uhud. Inform the bus driver of your destination, Uhud Mountain Cave, and he will drop you off at the closest point to the cave, which is around 500 meters away. From there, you can walk towards the cave, following the signs that lead you up the mountain.
Taxi/Local Ride-Hailing
If you prefer a more direct route, you can use a local taxi or a ride-hailing app like Uber or Careem. Start from the Prophet's Mosque and request a ride to 'Uhud Mountain Cave.' Provide the driver with the address: 7782 Abdul Aziz Ibn Marwan, Jabal Auhud, Madinah 42321. The driver will take you as close to the cave as possible, after which you may need to walk a short distance to reach the entrance.
