Car
From Kédougou, head north on the main road (N7) towards Dakar. Continue on N7 for approximately 65 kilometers. You will pass through various small towns along the way. Keep an eye out for road signs directing you to Bandia Reserve, which is located near Sindia. Upon reaching the sign for Bandia Reserve, turn onto the access road and follow it directly to the entrance. Parking is available at the reserve.
Public Transportation
To reach Bandia Reserve from Kédougou using public transportation, first take a bush taxi (shared taxi) from Kédougou to Dakar. The journey may take several hours, so be prepared for a longer travel time. Once in Dakar, head to the Gare Routière (bus station) and look for a bush taxi heading towards Mbour or Sindia. Inform the driver of your destination (Bandia Reserve). The taxi will drop you off at the nearest point to the reserve, from where you can walk or arrange for a local taxi to take you the rest of the way. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
