Follow the signs for 'Centre Ville' to navigate into the city. Once in Dakar, follow Avenue Moussa Tavele, then take a left onto Route de la Corniche Ouest. Continue along the coast until you reach the ferry terminal at Port de Dakar. Park your car securely in one of the parking lots available near the ferry terminal (note: parking may incur a fee). Take the ferry to Gorée Island, which typically costs around 5,000 CFA (approximately $10) for a round-trip ticket. The ferry ride takes about 20-30 minutes. Upon arriving at Gorée Island, Mémorial Gorée-Almadies is a short walk from the ferry terminal.
