If you are starting from the central area of Mbour, head east towards the main road (Avenue Abdoulaye Wade). Continue walking along this road until you reach the junction with the Route de Saly. At this junction, turn left onto Route de Saly. Keep walking straight for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with the Route de Mbour. Here, turn right. After about 500 meters, you will see signs pointing towards Dakar. Follow these signs and continue for another 1 kilometer until you reach the bus station. From the bus station, you can take a shared taxi to Dakar for about 1,500 CFA. Ask the driver to drop you off at Place du Souvenir Africain in Dakar. Once you arrive, the Place is located a short walk from the drop-off point.

For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from a local shop in Mbour. Start by heading east towards Avenue Abdoulaye Wade and continue straight until you reach the Route de Saly. Turn left and cycle along this road for about 1 kilometer, then turn right at Route de Mbour. Continue for another 1 kilometer until you reach the bus station. Park your bicycle at the bus station and take a shared taxi to Dakar, requesting the driver to drop you off at Place du Souvenir Africain.
