Lac Rose and Noflaye Tortoise Park
Great day with great guide
Our guide Eddy and the driver Bap were great companions. They guided us very well, but also did not want to talk to us all the time. The lake and salt processing were interesting, the jeep ride over the dunes and along the beach class. Then to the turtle village, where an animal expert explained everything thoroughly and translated Eddy. The kicks were phenomenal. We saw a lot of suburbs and villages and people's everyday lives during the car journey. Our companions have always asked us about our wishes and guided us safely through the day. Thank you.

100% Recommend Continental Tour
This was the absolute BEST Tour ever! I advised the company and my guide this was my first overseas trip ever and they made sure I got the full experience while making sure I was supported at all times. My driver and guide were professional yet personable. I honestly feel like I made friends. I am a cook so wanted to know more about the culinary side of Senegal. They delivered! I got to try many different foods and even talk with some peanut farmers in their fields. Stopped at a roadside sandwich market and tried a Ndambe sandwich. I am already planning my second trip with Continent Tours. Not sure if this is allowed, but feel free to contact me personally if you have any questions.

Gorée Island and Pink Lake Day
Must go to Goree Island
Goree island is a must see if you’re in country. The driver, David, was an absolute gem. The tour guide for the Isle of Goree was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. The pink lake was a little underwhelming. It was more like a reddish brown. It all depends on the time of year. A little boat ride is included in the price. However if you want to go in the dunes with a jeep or ATV that is extra. If you’re on a budget you can take a taxi or Yango (ride share) to the ferry terminal and get a round trip ticket for 2,500 CFA and walk around the island for free without a guide. The museum is an extra 2,000 CFA.
