Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards Smederevo from any location in Bačka. Use the E75 highway, which connects major cities in Serbia. Once you reach Smederevo, follow the signs to the city center. The fortress is located at Omladinska 1. There is parking available near the fortress, but be mindful of any parking fees, which may vary depending on the area you park in.
Public Transportation
To reach Smederevo Fortress via public transportation, take a bus from your location in Bačka to Smederevo. Check local schedules as they may vary. Once you arrive at the Smederevo bus station, you can either walk to the fortress (approximately 15-20 minutes) or take a local taxi for a small fee (around 300-500 RSD). From the bus station, head south on Kralja Petra I Street, continue straight until you reach the fortress.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can always opt for a taxi. Taxis are readily available in Bačka and can take you directly to Smederevo Fortress. Make sure to agree on a price before starting your journey, as fares may vary. Expect to pay around 1,500-2,000 RSD for a trip from central Bačka to Smederevo.
