If you are driving from Kolubara, start by heading southeast on the main road (E70) towards Belgrade. Follow the signs for 'Zemun' and continue until you reach the bridge over the Sava River. After crossing the bridge, take the exit towards 'Zemun' and follow the local roads to the Unnamed Road. The island is accessible by a short walk from the parking area along the road.

To reach Big War Island using public transportation, take a local bus from Kolubara to Belgrade. Look for bus lines that head towards 'Zemun.' Once you arrive in Zemun, you can take bus line 83 or 84 which will take you closer to the area. After getting off at the nearest bus stop, you will need to walk approximately 15 minutes along the Unnamed Road to reach the entrance of Big War Island.
