Stefan, our guide, made this day truly unforgettable. He was incredibly knowledgeable, accommodating, and passionate about sharing his country with us. We asked countless questions about Serbian history, culture, politics, and everyday life, as well as the history of the former Yugoslavia, and he answered every one with remarkable depth and enthusiasm. By the end of the day, we felt we had gained a genuine understanding of the spirit of Serbia, not just its history. Eastern Serbia itself is absolutely stunning and well worth visiting. The tour offered a perfect balance of history and nature, taking us to beautiful medieval monasteries, a spectacular ornate cave, an azure spring, a breathtaking waterfall and magnificent mountain scenery. Every stop was memorable, and Stefan's insights brought each place to life. We feel very fortunate to have had such an authentic and enjoyable experience. If you're looking for a tour that goes beyond simply seeing the sights and truly helps you understand Serbia and the former Yugoslavia, we couldn't recommend this tour, and especially Stefan, more highly.

Beautiful and historic Monasteries

We chose this tour in order to visit the Ravanica and Manasija Monasteries. We were fortunate to have a beautiful sunny day. The monasteries are simply beautiful. To see frescos like the Hand of God in Ravanica, and the Holy Warriors in Manasija was remarkable. Our lunch stop at the Veliki Buk waterfall was delightful. Our guide, Jelena was friendly and knowledgeable, our driver, Alex was very professional. Highly recommend!
