Walking
From the center of Smederevo, head towards the main bus station (Autobuska stanica Smederevo). Once you reach the bus station, look for the bus that goes to Belgrade. Buses to Belgrade are frequent, and the journey takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Upon arriving at the Belgrade bus station (Banjica), exit the bus terminal and head towards the tram stop located just outside. Take tram line 2 in the direction of 'Dusanovac' and ride for about 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Trg Republike' stop. The National Museum of Serbia is located a short walk from the tram stop. You will see the museum building at 'Trg republike 1а' directly in front of you.

Public Transport
Start by walking to the main bus station in Smederevo. Purchase a ticket to Belgrade, and board the next bus. The bus ride will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. When you arrive at the main bus terminal in Belgrade, exit the terminal and look for the nearby tram stop. Board tram line 2 heading towards 'Dusanovac'. After about 15 minutes, disembark at the 'Trg Republike' stop. From the tram stop, walk towards 'Trg republike 1а', where the National Museum of Serbia is located. The museum is prominently situated and easy to find.
