Public Transport
From Smederevo, head to the bus station located in the city center. You can ask locals or follow signs to the 'Autobuska Stanica'. Once at the bus station, purchase a ticket for a bus to Belgrade. The journey typically takes around 1 to 1.5 hours. Make sure to check the schedule for departure times. Upon arriving at the Belgrade bus station ('Banjica'), exit the station and follow the signs to the tram stops.
Tram
At the tram stop near the bus station in Belgrade, take tram number 2 towards 'Kalemegdan'. Stay on the tram for about 15 minutes and get off at the 'Kalemegdan' stop. From here, walk towards the fortress, and you will find Nebojša Tower situated within the grounds of Kalemegdan Park. The tower is clearly marked, and the walk from the tram stop to the tower is about 10 minutes.
Walking
If you prefer to explore on foot, you can walk from the Kalemegdan Park entrance. Head towards the fortress and follow the signs directing you to Nebojša Tower. The pathway is well-maintained, and you will enjoy beautiful views of the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers along the way. The walk from the park entrance to the tower should take about 15-20 minutes.
