Car
If you are driving, start by heading towards Victoria, the capital of Mahé. From Victoria, take the road to the northwest (Route de la Plage) and continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Grand Anse road (A8). Turn left onto A8 and follow the road, passing through the small town of Grand Anse. Keep an eye out for signs towards Cascade Waterfall. After approximately 15 minutes, you will see a sign for Cascade Waterfall on your left. Parking is available nearby, but be mindful of any parking fees that may apply.
Public Transport
To reach Cascade Waterfall via public transport, you will need to take a bus from Victoria. Head to the bus station and look for a bus that goes to Grand Anse or Cascade. The bus ride may take about 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic and stops. Once you arrive at the closest bus stop to Cascade Waterfall, you will need to walk for about 15-20 minutes on a paved path that leads to the waterfall. Make sure to check the bus schedule, as services may be less frequent in the afternoon.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of the waterfall, you can enjoy a scenic walk. From the nearest bus stop, head down the path leading to the waterfall. The path is well-marked and offers beautiful views of the surrounding nature. It is advisable to wear comfortable shoes as the terrain can be uneven in places and may require some light hiking.
