Car
To reach Mount Sebert by car, start from Victoria, the capital of Mahé Island. Head south on the main road (Route de la Montagne). After approximately 10 km, you will reach a junction. Take the left fork onto Montagne Posee Road, which leads you up the mountain. Follow the winding road for about 5 km until you reach the designated parking area at the foot of Mount Sebert. From here, you can hike up to the peak. Ensure your vehicle is parked in a safe area, as the roads can be narrow and steep.

For visitors using public transportation, take a bus from Victoria to the nearest bus stop, which is 'Montagne Posee.' Buses run regularly, but check the local schedule for times. Once you arrive at Montagne Posee bus stop, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 km to reach the parking area at the base of Mount Sebert. This walk involves a gentle uphill trek, so wear comfortable shoes. After reaching the parking area, you can begin your hike to the peak. The bus fare from Victoria to Montagne Posee is around 7 SCR (Seychellois Rupees).

If you are already near the base of Mount Sebert, you can simply begin your hike. The trail is well-marked, but be prepared for a steep incline. It takes approximately 1-2 hours to reach the summit, depending on your fitness level. Carry sufficient water and snacks, as there are no facilities along the trail. Hiking shoes are recommended due to the rocky terrain.
