Walking
From the center of Port Glaud, head southeast on the main road towards Anse La Mouche. As you walk, keep an eye out for local signs directing you towards Pointe Au Sel. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the left path which leads further to Pointe Au Sel. Continue walking for about 800 meters, and you will see the entrance to the Takamaka Rum Distillery on your right. Look for the large sign and enjoy the beautiful surroundings as you approach.
Public Transport (Bus)
From the main bus stop in Port Glaud, board the bus heading towards Pointe Au Sel. The bus service is regular, but be sure to check the schedule posted at the bus stop. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive at Pointe Au Sel, disembark at the nearest stop to the distillery. The Takamaka Rum Distillery is just a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Head towards the direction of the coastline, and you will find the distillery on your left.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can enjoy a scenic ride from Port Glaud to Pointe Au Sel. Start by heading southeast on the main road towards Anse La Mouche. Continue for about 1.5 kilometers, then take the left fork towards Pointe Au Sel. Follow the road for another 800 meters until you see the Takamaka Rum Distillery on your right. The route is relatively flat and offers beautiful views of the coastline, making it a pleasant bike ride.
