To reach Bureh Beach from Lungi Beach by car, start by heading southwest on the main road towards Freetown. After approximately 20-30 minutes, you will reach the junction at Waterloo. Take the right exit towards the Bureh Town road. Continue on this road for about 15 minutes until you see signs for Bureh Beach. Follow the signs which will lead you directly to the beach entrance. Parking is available near the beach, but be prepared for a small fee of around 5,000 Leones.

From Lungi Beach, you can take a shared taxi (often referred to as ' poda poda') to Freetown. This ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the central bus station in Freetown, look for taxis going to Bureh Beach. The fare should be around 10,000 Leones per person. The taxi ride from Freetown to Bureh Beach will take about 40 minutes. Be sure to confirm that the driver knows the location of Bureh Beach before you set off.
