After approximately 30 kilometers, turn onto the Bumbuna Road (B30) heading toward Bumbuna. Continue on this road for about 50 kilometers until you reach Old Sefadu. Upon entering Old Sefadu, look for the coordinates M253+69. The Artisanal Diamond Mine is located a short distance from the main road, so ensure to ask locals for directions if needed.

Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach the Artisanal Diamond Mine via public transportation, start by taking a bus from Makeni to Masiaka. Buses leave frequently from the bus station in the center of Makeni. Once you arrive in Masiaka, you will need to board a minibus heading to Bumbuna. These minibuses are often shared and can be found near the main market area. After arriving in Bumbuna, you can take another local transport (motorcycle taxi) that will take you to Old Sefadu. Make sure to communicate your destination clearly. The fare for the bus from Makeni to Masiaka is approximately 5,000 Leones, and the minibus to Bumbuna will cost about 10,000 Leones. The motorcycle taxi from Bumbuna to Old Sefadu will cost around 15,000 Leones.
