To reach the Grand Mosque of Batam from Ang Mo Kio by car, start by heading to the nearest expressway entrance. You can take the Central Expressway (CTE) towards the SLE (Seletar Expressway). Once on the SLE, continue until you reach the Woodlands Checkpoint to cross into Malaysia. After clearing immigration, follow the signs for the Second Link Expressway (E2) towards Batam. Upon reaching Batam, follow the signs to Batam Kota. The Grand Mosque of Batam is located at Jl. Engku Putri, Tlk. Tering, Kec. Batam Kota, Kota Batam, Kepulauan Riau 29444, Indonesia. Note that you may need to pay tolls at various points along the expressway and the ferry terminal fee to enter Batam.

From Ang Mo Kio, you can take the MRT to Woodlands MRT Station. From Woodlands, take a bus to the Woodlands Checkpoint. After clearing immigration, take a ferry to Batam. Ferries leave from the Woodlands Waterfront. Make sure to purchase a ticket in advance and check the schedule. After arriving at Batam, you can take a taxi or ride-sharing service to the Grand Mosque of Batam, located at Jl. Engku Putri, Tlk. Tering, Kec. Batam Kota, Kota Batam, Kepulauan Riau 29444, Indonesia. The ferry ticket and taxi fare will incur additional costs, so be prepared.
