Start at Bugis MRT Station (Exit A). Walk straight along Victoria Street until you reach the intersection with Bencoolen Street. Continue straight onto Bencoolen Street. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the entrance of Fort Canning Park. From there, head northwest through the park until you reach the exit at Hill Street. Once you exit the park, turn left and walk along Hill Street until you reach River Valley Road. Turn right onto River Valley Road and walk for about 15 minutes. You will arrive at the entrance of the National Orchid Garden located at 1 Cluny Rd.

From Bugis, walk to the nearest bus stop at Bugis Junction (Bus Stop ID: 07141). Take Bus 7 or 77 and ride for about 15 minutes. Alight at the Singapore Botanic Gardens stop (Bus Stop ID: 10009).
