If you're starting from Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, exit the reserve and head southeast on Bukit Timah Road. Walk along the footpath for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with Holland Road. Continue straight on Bukit Timah Road. The Eco Lake is located near the Singapore Botanic Gardens entrance, which is a short walk from the junction.

From Bukit Timah Plaza, take bus number 67 or 170 heading towards Bukit Timah Road. Alight at the stop 'Opposite Botanic Gardens'. From there, walk towards the entrance of the Singapore Botanic Gardens, and follow the signs to Eco Lake, which is about a 10-minute walk inside the gardens.
