Getting There

Walking
From Chinatown MRT Station, take Exit A (Smith Street). Walk straight along Smith Street until you reach the intersection with Pagoda Street. Turn left onto Pagoda Street and continue until you reach the junction with South Bridge Road. Cross South Bridge Road and head towards the Singapore River. Once you reach the river, turn right and walk along the riverbank towards the direction of the Clarke Quay. After about 10 minutes, you will reach Clarke Quay MRT Station. From there, take the North East Line (Purple Line) towards Punggol. Get off at Harbourfront MRT Station. Exit the station and follow the signs for the Mount Faber Cable Car station. Take the cable car up to Mount Faber Peak.

Bus
From Chinatown, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at the corner of Smith Street and New Bridge Road. Board bus number 147, which will take you towards Harbourfront. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes, then alight at the 'Harbourfront Station' stop. From there, follow the signs to the Mount Faber Cable Car station, and take the cable car up to Mount Faber Peak.
