Walking
From Clarke Quay MRT Station, take Exit E (the one that leads to Clarke Quay Central). Once you are outside, head towards the Singapore River. Walk along the riverside promenade towards the bridge crossing the river. Cross the Elgin Bridge and continue straight. You will see the Fort Canning Park on your right. Continue walking straight along the road until you reach Stamford Road. The National Museum of Singapore will be on your left at 93 Stamford Rd.

From Clarke Quay MRT Station, exit and walk to the bus stop at Clarke Quay Central. Take bus service 175 or 197. Ride for about 6 stops and alight at the National Museum of Singapore stop. After you get off, cross the street, and you will see the museum right in front of you at 93 Stamford Rd.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike at one of the bicycle-sharing stations in Clarke Quay. Start at the Clarke Quay bike station and head towards the river.
