    From East Coast Park, head towards the East Coast Parkway (ECP) exit. Walk towards the nearest bicycle rental station which is located near the park entrance. Rent a bicycle and cycle north along the ECP. Continue cycling until you reach the junction with Marine Parade Road. Turn left onto Marine Parade Road and cycle until you reach Katong. Look for the prominent Katong shopping area, which is well-signposted.

    Start at any point in East Coast Park. Find the coastal park connector and cycle northwest towards the Marine Parade area. As you approach the Marine Parade Road, keep an eye out for signs leading to Katong. Once you reach Marine Parade Road, continue biking straight until you see the Katong district on your right.
